I give to you "I Still Believe"- a song about the fight to keep a dying love alive.
This song is very special to me. I wrote it a few years ago and it was one of the last songs I got to demo with my friend, Matthew Amelung before he passed away. I cherish those times with him more than almost anything else in my life, for so many reasons. One of them being that he always encouraged me to be confident in myself- in music, art and life. So here we are. :)
Originally we planned on adding production and harmonies to this song. But the idea of touching this recording at all never felt right to me. It's a raw track, not edited whatsoever. I had a cold that day and I love that you can kind of hear it in my voice. Everytime I listen to this song it takes me back to that day in the studio with Matt and Aaron and I want to hold on to those memories for the rest of my life.
